Weekend Flair #15 - Pet Silhouette

In keeping with this week's celebration for Jaffery's adoption birthday (part 1 - part 2/etsy giveaway - Scrapbooking for Pets) as well as PetFinder's 15th year anniversary, I decided to complete a project I have wanted to do for quite some time.

Puppy Silhouettes!

Isn't this one of the funniest photos ever... "I've got two puppies, in my hand..."
After printing and cutting out a photo of each, I traced and cut out on colored paper.
Purposefully, I did Dakota on brown and Jaffery on black.

I found 2 frames at Michaels on clearance ($2.99 each).

I have been collecting black clearance frames since we adopted Dakota.
One by one, I have added them to the wall.
It might be time to take everything down and rearrange.

I'm not sure how I feel about Dakota in the frame. I chose a black frame to match the others, yet I'm not sure. Maybe I need to cut him out in traditional silhouette black.   What do you think?

BONUS: Dakota was interested in what I was doing. I showed him. Good thing I was done.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog!
    I love this idea!
We have 2 dogs (black labs). I would love to do this for my son's room...it's a "Go, dog! Go!" theme!
