Today was a hard day. Alan and I have a lot going on; a lot to think about. It has been challenging, tear inducing, and made way for conversations people often try to avoid.
However, today was also a good day. I am filled with hope and inspiration. We have a starting place; today, no matter what today we are currently in, is a great day to start.
I am currently surrounded by about 50 written on bright green sticky notes. Some are quotes, others are to do lists, and others are funny stick figure drawings. Through frustration and uncertain decision, we have also found a place to support one another, to be there for one another, to really love one another.
I guess isn't that what it is all about anyhow?
