Last minute Halloween Cards

Haven't had time to make your Halloween cards and now you have about 24 hours to get them done?

No supplies, you only  have one Halloween stamp and you really dislike making 30 of the same freakin' card?

No worries. Remember when I posted my 3 Halloween cards? Well, I actually made a few more, from the same basic supplies!

Happy Crafting!

Owl Thanks

I LOVE making cards! At least 90% of the time, my cards are specifically made for the specific occasion! I love having the card be special, unique and made with a certain person in mind. :)

Thanks again Leslie!

Quick Cards

I wanted to send a quick note to my Compassion Kids. I decided to make a little "You are Loved" tag for each kid. If you follow me on twitter or facebook, you got a quick sneak peak of my progress in making the tags.

I LOVE my new Ali Edwards "This One" stamp set! I also recently picked up a Tree Snag 'em Stamps from Imaginisce. I added a sparkly brad from DoodleBug, colored in the tree with a brown sharpie, and 2 Copic markers (G14 and YG17), topped it off with a little ink (Inkadinkado Stackables) on the edges and poof! 3 cute little tags.

I decided to use a few bits of paper I had and make up a couple cards to attach the tags to, and in under 15 minutes, I had 3 cards ready to be written in!

Have you written to your Compassion kids recently? Now is always the perfect time! Don't forget, you can also write to your kids through the Compassion website!

Scrappin' Sunday!

I told Jaffery's adoption story here, however haven't had a chance to make the scrapbook pages for it. Well, I have started! FINALLY!

Supplies:
Reminisce Signature Series - Adoption pattern paper
Bella BLVD - Tail Waggers & Cat Naps Alpha+Bits, Just Write Journaling Blocks, Borders N' Blocks

Dress It Up Buttons - My Dog
Technique Tuesday - Sweet Baby Clear Stamps
Cricut, A Child's Year (for "Jaffery")
Foam pop dots
White and Black Cardstock

I also had several 8x10 photos printed at Costco awhile back. I'm trying to get those all on paper too! :) This is one of my favorite photos from last winter!

Supplies:
Brown Cardstock
Cricut, Christmas Cheer
Background paper - Found this in a clearance pile somewhere and doesn't have brand on it.

Can you see on the side there....? I even did a bit of journaling!

What scrapbook projects have you been working on lately? How do you pick what photos to work with next?

Week in the life 2011 - Finished!

This is my first year completing the Week In the Life Project!  It was fun, yet challenging. I didn't have as many photos as I wanted, didn't journal much (though what I did do is a huge improvement from most of my memory keeping), and didn't purchase the official template, however I am very proud of what I did do and how it turned out!

I am also doing the One Little Word Project and the 52 weeks Photo Challenge. All of these projects are going in the same Memory Keepers Binder as a way to document my 2011.

I used Ali Edwards Week In the Life Journal Cards Vol 2 and Heart Days of the Week from Designer Digitals.

After doing this project, I'm totally in love with the Nine 3.5 x 2.625 Inch Photo Sleeves. They are amazing and would even look great in my 12x12 albums that I typically work with!

I ended up with only a few photos on Wednesday, and most of them horizontal. Thus I used 2 pockets for one photo... a couple times, on this page!

Due to how I organized each day, I ended up with a random page at the end. I decided to use it to do more journaling. I love the result!

Did you participate in Week in the Life project? Would you ever consider it? I LOVE how it captures the simplicity of the week. Each project like this continues to make my heart ache for my 365 project. I must do it again...

Weekend Flair #19 - Jaffery scrapbook page!

Very rarely do I make a one photo layout, especially with a 4x6 photo. I honestly am not sure why (might be my frugal side, not wanting to 'waste' space), however I am very happy I did this one. I LOVE how it turned out.

Supplies:

Do you do one page layouts?  Why/Why not?

PS: Next week for Weekend Flair #20, I have a super fun, super special post and project to share! Stay Tuned!
