Wow. August was my last post. Honestly, I have been reading blogs, and thinking about how I should post about how my living room painting project turned out, how I convinced my husband to help paint vertical stripes in the basement (5 colors of them!), my crazy trip to New York (see here and here and here for a few others' accounts of the trip/event--Yes, My husband is Mr. Mcriblocator.com --hehe), how I have a new adorable nephew, how I have been cleaning, and painting, and sorting, about the 12+ inches of snow we received this weekend, the awesome giveaway I won at Baby Makin(g) Machine (from sponsor iStyles --THANK YOU!) and about a million other things.
However here I am.
My life is blessed. Though everything is running at lightening speed, I consider all I have been fortunate enough to do, the people I have met, and the things I have learned.
I will be blogging more regularly. Why? Because I want to. I have been telling myself I do not have time. However in reality, I do have time. My most recent inspiration:
Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Kello, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstien."H. Jackson Brown
So here I am. I may not paint a masterpiece, help cure diseases, or event invent a gadget that helps millions. I will, however, be able to look back at the time I spent doing, and be happy.
Good to have you back. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such an incredible quote. It really just jumped out at me. In fact, I've saved it into a word document so that I don't forget it.
